Tower of babble

Well the month of November is upon us and that means the tourists will also be upon us – and thank heavens for that. The more the merrier, we say! It also mans the rainy season is pretty much come and gone, and those of us who keep getting our feet wet are certainly grateful for that. Nothing like the sight of a queen trying to decide whether to remove her pumps when wading home – or not.

Got an itch for distant lands? Check out Utopia’s Asian Rainbow Adventures. They’ll get you up and packing and off to such places as Saigon, Chiang Mai, even a few "Fantasy Islands", not to mention tours of the Big Mango and much more. Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seat belts please!

The new bar (upstairs) at Sphinx is scheduled for a November 20th opening so do drop by (or should we say, "drop up"?) and soak up the suds for the opening festivities.

Don’t forget that Crepes & Co will be holding their Arabian Nights promotion during the months of November and December. Pay ‘em a visit.

Visit the web site for the Malaysian AIDS Council where Mahathir's daughter is the president. For a full story on what’s going on over there in Malaysia, see the News department.
